PATRICK O'DONOVAN

Patrick O’Donovan has over 27 years in instrumental music education. Currently, he is the Director of Bands at Byram Middle School and has taught at both middle and high school levels. Patrick began his teaching career in Florida and has taught on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, DeSoto County and Hinds County. Bands and music ensembles under his direction consistently rate superior at contests and festivals. He has a passion for teaching music and helping students succeed. Mr. O’Donovan is a nationally recognized percussion and band adjudicator and holds a Bachelor Degree in Music Education from the University of West Florida and a Master Degree in Educational Leadership from Mississippi College.
